any software needed to do online share market?

Author: Caz Some brokerage gives the free software to do online share. what is that.. I dont know anything abt online. If I ve demat ac and trading n bank account how i can da online share.
Most of the online trading providers give you this facility using their website. So only software you need is internet browser and nothing else. (You anyway need internet connection, id and pwd to access trading site)
I am not sure what is the free software other brokers are offering. It may be that their system works using client-server software where client software should be installed on PC. But it does not make any difference to your online trading capability.
