I’m thinking of starting my own business and would like to use the internet as a marketing tool. The two primary things I would need from a host would be a) a good search engine keyword system (in other words people could type in "mowing", "dallas", "texas" in Google and find my business) and b) options to pay the business online using a credit/debit card. Yes, you really can earn thousands of dollars on the internet. Informational e-books, softwares, systems etc can be a stepping stone in the right direction if you are good at implementation. Buying into someones system or just getting an e-book definitely does not create success. There are web hosts that will assist in building a business around your interests. Most or all "gurus" tell their rags to riches stories and claim their proven system or books could help you make $$$. However, you later discover that their methods involve buying more products(backend products) and involve endless steps n confusing procedures . Do people fail because they lack patience and persistancy or is it just a DREAM they have been convinced into believing,joining and marketing………. pls advice

I was pretty skeptical at first about a lot of the eBooks out there, marketing "guru" stories, etc. There really are some great resources and people that have done well online. I’m lucky to have stuck with it for about 3 years now and am doing just fine.

It seems that you have answered part of your own question– it does take persistance, patience, and practice to be successful online (and in many areas of life). Internet/online marketing, for me, has been a continuous and steep learning curve. If you love to learn constantly and are always curious (staying hungry like Steve Jobs recommended in his Stanford address speech) then you’ll do just fine.

Besides Traffic Geyser, there is a free service called Tube Mogul. It works in much the same way. Additionally there is a software package I found called Tube Mastery (http://www.websitemarketingskills.com/recommends/TubeMastery) which works really well in terms of how to market on YouTube. The same basic information is true on the other sites, as well. Use your profile page to link to your site and use calls to action to get people to respond. I would just buy that program and familiarize yourself with it.

I’m not interseted in home based online scams. Show me a legitimate growing company please. I need some proof also.

I just got started with a company called Team National. My sister has been with the company for about a year now. She has around 45 people in her network at this time.
